Badoo – Badoo is a multilingual social networking website, based in London and have regional offices throughout the world. There are 133,068,031 Badoo members worldwide with hundreds of thousands of new guys and girls joining daily. The basic service is free for everyone. And these basic services are unusually extensive. As soon as members sign up, members can chat, upload photos and videos and see and contact people who live in their area — or even a different city or a certain part of the world.

Bebo – Bebo is a social network site which combines online community, self-expression and entertainment, enabling its members to consume, create, discover, curate and share digital content in entirely new ways. Bebo has sites all across the globe — US, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Poland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, India and the Netherlands.

Blauk.com – Blauk.com is a microblogging website that allows users to express their thoughts to a stranger or acquaintance that they see everyday in real life. Blauk is quite different from popular social networking websites that help users only to be in touch with their friends and associates. By using Blauk, the members can express their likes, dislikes or amusements about each other.

Blogster – Blogster is a blogging community that features specific-interest blogs. Blogster maintains an online community of users who publish web content, images, video and more. Users can join communities which are organized by experiences and interests, and view shared experiences organized by city and region to connect and interact with other people.

Faces – Faces is a social networking website with a goal to encourage online social interaction. The site itself used to have around 95% of its members from the UK, with other countries, prominently users from America and Australia, making up the remainder. The typical demographic to begin with was members between the ages of 16 to 22, mostly of a female gender. As many other social networking sites provide, each user can create a profile and blog about themselves. Users can link these profiles together to form a linked friend network. fubar – fubar is a social network launched in 2005, and is being known as the first “online bar”. In October 2007, they teamed up with Jangl to provide members with the ability to call others anonymously. The site is for people18 and older, and is free to use. Registered members initiate conversations through buying each other virtual drinks with “fubucks” earned through using the site. Other interesting features include the ability to buy a “Happy Hour” for the whole site (reducing drink costs for all members), file sharing, and the ability to ask the community as a whole for their opinions.

Goodwizz – Goodwizz is a social network service website which is located in France. Goodwizz explore new horizons in social network, with advanced approach in building social ties. It defines itself as a social network, with games, and a meeting section in four steps: matchmaking algorithm, discovery questions, personality games and meeting location suggestions. Like most social networking service, Goodwizz allow users to post and upload pictures and videos, share thoughts and comments on a wall, invite friends, and send them virtual gifts. It has developed a unique matchmaking system that connects members with similar interests and compatible personal feature.
